Since 2014, UUSA volunteers have been preparing and serving a free breakfast from 8-10 AM every Wednesday in the Willie Eaton Social Hall of the UUSA. The breakfast is open to the public free of charge and everyone is welcome to attend.
The breakfast has a new fundraising partner beginning in 2026 – Amherst Shelter, Inc. / El Colibrí. To keep the free meals flowing requires support. If you would like to help fund the breakfast, donations are always welcome at elcolibri.org.
There are many volunteers needed to successfully run this program, and you can easily sign up to help for one hour or more. Contact us and we will connect you with a volunteer opportunity that fits your interest and schedule. We need volunteers to help at the breakfast (cooking, serving, or greeting) as well as folks who can help with getting supplies, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, and helping with fundraising.
