As Unitarian Universalists we affirm and promote seven principles and recently we have added an eighth principle, in addition to six sources that guide us to be our best selves as we seek intellectual and spiritual growth within the Beloved Community.
Our faith teaches us that revelation is not sealed, our experiences and our interactions with others continue to refine our understanding of why we are here and what we need to do with our lives. Because of this ongoing search, we provide many opportunities to continue our learning together.
We understand that our search for meaning is by no means limited to our own lives, we must reach outward as well. As we strive to help create a heaven here on Earth for all beings, our community is involved in many social justice initiatives.
Love is the spirit of this community.
We dwell together in peace,
We seek truth and justice in love,
We honor everyone’s worth and dignity, and
We do the work of building the Beloved Community in our world.
